Grandkid's Fish Fry

Maw and Paw decided to have a fish fry for all their grandkids.

This is the only party where we have received the honor of sitting at the adult table.

Lola wanted a picture of her, Maw and Sophie so that when we left, Maw would have something to remember her by. (We visit once every 1 to 2 months but that is a really long time to a little person according to Lola.)

Indiana State Fair

First Day

Sophie and Lola both had BIG days.

This was Sophie's first day of 1st grade.....

....and Lola's first day at Ms. Mary's.
Sophie wanted to wear her favorite High School Musical Dress but it was kind of cold so we had to add a sweater and leggings....it turned out pretty cute!

Sophie getting off of the bus for the first time. Brian and I were both nervous wrecks until we saw her climb out. We take her to school but she rides the bus home. What a great first day!!!

Mommy's Flower Girl Dress

Rella couldn't wait to try on the dress that Mommy wore when I was a flower girl in Uncle Charlie's wedding. It is a little big on her but she loved it!

My friend Jessica welcomed another little girl to their family. I am sure Tommi Jo is excited about being a big sister!

Since we are lacking for great space to put framed pictures, I made a collage of my favorite photos and we now having it hanging upstairs outside our bedroom.

Richland Fest Parade (from Old Video Collection)

With the help of Brian's Uncle Bill I have been converting my old VHS tapes to DVD's and then as AVI and WMV files to save on my computer. I have also been using this as a learning process to help me with Adobe's Premiere Pro...a part of my software package that I use for school. Here is the first video I have been playing with....the always exciting Richland Fest Parade of 1997! Once I converted it to a format that was a small enough file type to upload the quality went down the tubes. Okay, so its not an Emmy winning video but it was nice to reminisce.
