After Lola's Robotics Competition was over she got to head over to a skate party for her friend Brenn.

Brian's 37th Birthday

We went out to eat at Red Robin - then we came back home for homemade dessert - Whipped Chocolate Pie and Chocolate Chess Pie

Mark's Birthday!

Sophie's 11th Birthday

Soph has started reading the Harry Potter series of books - and it just so happens that in the first book, on Harry's 11th birthday, is when he gets his acceptance letter to Hogwarts.  Soooooo......I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do the same for Soph!  (I mean, if Hogwarts were real, I am sure she would be asked to attend.)

It was also a big birthday because Sophie got a cell phone!  She is growing up too fast!

Birthday Party 2013

Since the girls birthdays are less than a month apart we let them have a joint party with their friends at Gattitown this year.

 I did not like the way my cakes turned out at all.  This wasn't the original plan but the sheets of zebra fondant were not easy to work with - so I did the best I could.  

The girls liked them so I guess that's all that matters.
