Happy Birthday Cindy
For my sister's birthday I re-created one of her favorite pictures of 2 of her favorite people.....myself and her husband Mike. We are still just as cute as we were back in the 80's.

Lola's New Bicycle
Lola saved her money and bought herself a new bicycle. She sold her old one and then saved the rest from grade money given to her for getting A's on her report card. She is so proud of her new skull bicycle.

Egg Drop Project
Soph had design a contraption that would hold a raw egg and let it drop from the top of a tall ladder and not crack or break. Her and her daddy came up with a soda can cut open, cotton padding, taped shut and then added a parachute made out of a grocery sack.

Lola built this Abe Lincoln flatboat all by herself. She was a glue gun pro! I think she did awesome!

Ripley's Aquarium - Gatlinburg, TN - Spring Break 2012
I took so many pictures on our visit to Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg I decided to give them their own post. Plus, to save time uploading photos and because I think doing stuff like this is fun, I made all the pictures into a musical video.
Here are the links to the other videos I made from the pictures of us rock-climbing/hiking and all the other vacation pictures.
For some reason Blogger won't let me upload the videos - possibly because I used copyrighted music. I have no clue. Oh well.

Go Soph Go
Sophie asked what all she got to do once she was 10. Brian told her she now has to mow the grass. HAHA Well, Soph was on board - she was out there ready to mow. Look at her go!

Sophie is 10 years old!!!!
My big girl is 10!!!!! Is that even possible?!?!
She recently got her YELLOW belt in TaeKwonDo so I made her some yellow belted cupcakes.
The other half of the batch were Popcorn Cupcakes. It's not real popcorn its made with mini marshmallows and yellow food coloring and stuck down with icing. She picked these out because she is DYING for some popcorn - she can't eat it with her braces.
AWWW - they love each other sometimes! =)
Thanks Aunt Cindy!
